Any Cable Everywhere ACE belongs to a new generation of synthesizers developed with the latest, fastest computers in mind. ACE offers classic modular synthesis and more at a fraction of the cost of dedicated hardware. But like its hardware forebears, you can patch any output into any input: the number of different ways to connect modules together is practically infinite. Needless to say, you will never run out of cables! The careful selection of modules and clear layout make ACE the ideal instrument for newcomers delving into the fascinating world of modular synthesis. But ACE also delivers the goods: like any medium-sized professional hardware system, ACE has enough synthesis power to keep you discovering new tricks for many years to come! Key Features At first glance ACE may seem overly simplistic, but remember that virtually anything can be plugged into anything else. Depending on your state, there may be additional restriction codes that can be placed on your CDL license. Removing a CDL Restriction If you wish to remove a restriction from your CDL, you may be required to complete or provide: • Additional written knowledge tests. • Additional road skills tests. • This includes testing in a vehicle meeting the requirements indicated by the restriction. Filename extensions are usually noted in parentheses if they differ. For instance, try plugging an LFO into a Filter, then use that filter as an FM source for an oscillator. Crazy routing is possible, endless fun is guaranteed! • semi-modular architecture, with default routing like ARP 2600 • 25 signal sources, 30+ signal targets • up to 8 times unison with +/-2 octave detune range each • exceptional filters, can self-oscillate • LFOs can be used as VCOs and vice versa • sync, FM, cross modulation • use multiples for inversion, amp / ring modulation etc. • custom LFO waveform 'tap map' • microtuning (Scala.tun standard) • 100% free of Supersaws! • 2 x LFO (0Hz - 20kHz) • 2 x ADSSR envelopes • 2 x VCO (0Hz - 20kHz, PWM, VCO1-linked sub) • 2 x VCF (LP1/LP2/LP3/LP4 and HP/BP/BR each) • 2 x VCA with pan • 2 x multiples (with modulation input) • 1 x mixer (for standard sources + aux) • 1 x ramp generator (loopable) • 1 x mapping generator (up to 128 values) • 1 x noise (white, pink) • 3 x global effects (chorus, delay, 2 x tone). Business Writer-in-Residence, DeGroote School of Business| Hamilton, Ontario| June 2, 2014 On June 9, 2014, Rob Burgess received an honourary Doctor of Laws degree from the DeGroote School of Business. As a young executive, took the helm of two innovative but troubled technology companies, and restored them to a state where they became the undisputed leaders in their field. For those rescue jobs — and his role in developing game-changing graphics software — he became known as a turnaround ace, both in Ontario where he got his start and in California where he has built a career as an executive and investor. Yet, in fact, he pulled off his first turnaround at McMaster University in the late 1970s when, as a commerce student, he got the job as manager of the campus grocery store. He sized up the challenge: It sold more pop and potato chips than the average supermarket and yet could not turn a profit. He soon realized why. U He Ace Keygen Macromedia FlashSome employees were engaging in acts of pilfering that, over time, added up to a big cash drain. He stopped the erosion and the business finally made money for the student body that controlled it. Little did he know that this problem-solving proclivity would play out on a much wider canvas in the 1980s and 1990s – with his revival of a Toronto 3-D modelling and animation company called Alias Research and then of San Francisco-based Macromedia, the originator of iconic software such as Flash and Dreamweaver. His role as a turnaround CEO did not come from any grand design, he insists. “It was fear and panic – there are lots of good motivators,” says Burgess, now 57, who is based in Silicon Valley, invests in enterprises and sits on boards of companies, such as Adobe and Nvidia, and not-for-profits like the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula. Yet he traces the seeds of his unpredictable career to McMaster and the DeGroote School of Business. “At DeGroote, I got my grounding in business,” says Burgess, who will receive an honorary doctorate at McMaster’s spring convocation.
